UFC Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings 2025

While a smaller pool, the UFC ‘pound-for-pound’ athlete rankings for women showcase the toughest WMMA combatants the planet has to offer. UFC 321 has found its co-main PPV feature, and with a vacant SW title fight there and an FW title fight elsewhere, the lineup is up for some changes later in 2025.

Here are the current UFC Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings 2025, which came after the weekly update on the athletes’ listings, after UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Zhang, AKA UFC Fight Night 257, this August-end.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound Top Rank #1 Valentina Shevchenko

After the unceremonious draw at UFC Fight Night 227, Kyrgyz phenom Valentina Shevchenko rematched Alexa Grasso for the women’s flyweight title at the first-ever UFC WMMA trilogy. ‘Bullet’ snagged that in the bag at last year’s UFC Noche, where Merab Dvalishvili also snagged undisputed gold. Shevchenko has won back-to-back title fights over top names in what is her second UFC title reign.

Shevchenko then made a maiden defense against Manon Fiorot at UFC 315, on May 10, 2025, PPV Main card in Montreal. She won by UD and now maintains her spot as #1 in the Pound-for-Pound Rankings. Her 47 TDs till UFC 315 PPV is the most in divisional history, with a standard 68.1 percent TD accuracy, the second-best rate.

#2 Zhang Weili

Two-time champ Zhang Weili deserves her slab in Women’s UFC Pound-for-Pound Rankings

Shevchenko is slated to face former two-time UFC Women’s SW Champ Zhang Weili at UFC 322 PPV. Her stakes to the SW gold get over at the first bell of the PPV Co-main event at UFC 321 on October 25 in Abu Dhabi. But the No.2-ranked fighter in the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings more than makes her case. Like Bullet, she too was on her 2nd reign with wins over brand names like Carla Esparza, Amanda Lemos, Xiaonan Yan, and Tatiana Suarez (UFC 312).

The first and only Chinese fighter to win undisputed gold, she is a rock-solid, bona fide name and future Hall of Famer. With five fight-night bonuses in UFC strawweight bouts, Weili has the fourth-highest total in divisional history. Her +267 strike differential disparity is also one of the most dominant WMMA performances, right behind Kamaru Usman.

#3 Kayla Harrison

P4P has no literal meaning or Athletic Commission definition. But if one has to go for a blow-by-blow skills test, Kayla Harrison is the it girl in WMMA right now. Shifting from the –‍63 kg division to the ‍–‍78 kg brackets, two-time Olympian Harrison snagged the 2008 Junior World Championship, and subsequent golds at the 2010 World Championships2012/2016 Olympics.

Ex-PFL Champ as well, “Doug,” then stuffed stout standup attempts from veteran Holly Holm and defeated her in her debut at UFC 300. Harrison then thwarted top-10 fighter Ketlen Vieira at UFC 307: Pereira vs. Rountree Jr to cement her top shot. She defeated Julianna Peña via second-round submission to become the newly minted women’s 135-pound champion.

#4 Manon Fiorot

After Harrison and Shevchenko’s next opponent, is her last opponent. Up until facing Shevchenko, Fiorot’s seven-fight UFC streak at WMMA’s flyweight division was the longest active one. The recent title challengers’ two KO wins in women’s flyweight competition also tie for the third-most.

Fiorot has the second-best rate in divisional history behind Mara Romero Borella, defending 68.6 percent of all significant strike attempts in competition. While she failed a title bid, she has shown she’s a true top contender and deserves her spot in the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings 2025.

#5 Julianna Peña

Julianna Peña makes her case as rank #5

She might have lost her recent title defense, but Julianna Peña won her bid against the GOAT, Amanda Nunes, when the time came. Team Valle Flow Striking’s Vixen is infamous for her raggedy footwork, her haymaker striking, and chaining up combos, which worked in her favor.

With eight victories in the UFC women’s bantamweight competition, Peña tied for the third-most wins in the division’s history, behind only Nunes [13] and Raquel Pennington [12]. Her four stoppage victories also tie at the same spot. As of August 19, 2025, with the change in guard, she stays at #5 in the updates.

#6 Natália Silva

New blood Natália Silva is the new biggie in UFC Pound-for-Pound Rankings in 2025
New blood Natália Silva is the new biggie in UFC Pound-for-Pound Rankings in 2025

The No.1-ranked flyweight, Natália Silva, went the ‘Nassourdine Imavov‘ route of battering the champ’s former rival to cement her top status. At UFC 315 PPV, she defied Alexa Grasso’s attempts at a hard scramble with a kick to the face. Silva answered the headhunting Grasso and her stiff double-jabs with short combos of her own.

She bounced around, had quick-twitch slips, and outboxed the former champ in a clear decision and unanimous 30-27 scores on the judges’ cards. While Silva couldn’t corral the charge for a title shot yet, she ranks just beyond the top 5 in the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings 2025. She has Shevchenko’s attention, as well as others, who want to climb the pecking order.

Silva has improved to 7-0 at the moment with her win over Grasso, and her winning streak now ties with Fiorot. Silva is one of only five fighters in UFC history to earn a KO with a spinning back kick to the head. She achieved this highlight at UFC Fight Night 215; she also stuffs out 91.7 percent of TD attempts, which is the best divisional rate.

#7 Alexa Grasso

Alexa Grasso holds the #7 spot
Alexa Grasso holds the #7 spot

Grasso might have lost to the new blood, but she was a bona fide queen of the weight class and for good reason. The only female Mexican champ in UFC, Alexa Grasso, is now 5-2-1 since her move to flyweight in August 2020.

Grasso is one of three WMMA’s flyweight champs, and her three-fight series at the second annual Noche PPV was historic. Before that, she went on a 5-fight UFC winning streak (with 1 draw), and she’s still #3 in flyweight rankings. The 32-year-old pride from Team Lobo Gym MMA could be just a fight away from a top shot again.

#8 Erin Blanchfield

Top-5 flyweight Erin Blanchfield deserves her spot in the rankings
Top-5 flyweight Erin Blanchfield deserves her spot in the rankings

Erin Blanchfield is a top contender in the making, and her trajectory tracks with it. Since signing with the promotion in 2021, Blanchfield quickly defeated the likes of Miranda Maverick, JJ Aldrich, veteran Molly McCann, the stout Jessica Andrade, and Taila Santos. Before slumping one to Manon Fiorot eventually; she is, though, currently #5 in the flyweight rankings.

The seven TDs Blanchfield logged at UFC 269 are tied for the single-fight record in a UFC women’s flyweight bout. In November, Blanchfield made a resounding comeback, triumphing over Rose Namajunas at UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Albazi, AKA UFC Fight Night 246.

From June 10th, 2025, she is #8 in the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings. She was to face Maycee Barber at UFC on ESPN 68, but the latter pulled out due to health complications.

#9 Virna Jandiroba

Virna Jandiroba was long due a top shot
Virna Jandiroba was long due a top shot

Academia Fight House Team’s Virna Jandiroba is on a 5-fight winning streak. She has established herself as a top 115-pound contender and has wins over Angela Hill, Marina Rodriguez, Loopy Godinez, Lemos, and Xiaonan Yan. Her grappling threat is something that solidifies her ranking and beyond.

She’s #1 in strawweight rankings and fights Mackenzie Dern for the vacant SW gold, soon. Dern herself has back-to-back wins over Godinez and Lemos as well. If anyone deserves to scrap in the top spot, it’s these two. While Dern has reserved her need and understanding to win more, the bold Jandiroba even wanted to fight Weili in her backyard, before she raked up news of vacating.

#10 Raquel Pennington

With 12 victories in the WMMA bantamweight competition, Pennington has the second-highest number of wins in the division’s history. ‘Rocky’ is just behind Nunes [13] with her wins. Her five-fight UFC winning streak is also the highest at bantamweight. Her 6-fight streak ended when Peña defeated her to win gold at UFC 307.

Pennington’s two submissions are also behind Ronda Rousey, along with an exclusive bulldog-choke win. She perches at #2 in the bantamweight rankings.

#11 Tatiana Suarez

Recent title challenger Tatiana Suarez can again rise the ladder soon enough

One of the best wrestlers, often alluded to as ‘Female Khabib, Tatiana Suarez is the current No.2-ranked strawweight. While she has competed only twice in the past two years, she has momentum as a recent title challenger to Zhang Weili. Suarez upkeeps her ranks in Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings 2025 with her skills and superior clinch-to-ground-and-pound techniques. Her lone loss came to the champ herself.

Her superior grappling and pressure can again be put to the test vs. Lemos in a three-round bout on the 2025 Noche fight card at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Women’s SW already has a new slated title bout. But this top matchup can be a silent title eliminator at the UFC Fight Night 259, also known as Noche UFC.

#12 Rose Namajunas

'Thug' Rose Namajunas wants fights that earn her title shots next
‘Thug’ Rose Namajunas wants fights that earn her title shots next

‘Thug’ of the division and a former two-time UFC Women’s Strawweight Champ, Namajunas currently fights as a flyweight. A bona fide legend, good wrestler and strong striker, she makes her case in the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings [#12].

Rose Namajunas is 3-1 in her last few and got back to the ‘W’ column with an emphatic performance against Miranda Maverick at UFC on ESPN 69 at State Farm Arena. After the clear lopsided win, she wants to face Silva or Alexa Grasso to revitalize her momentum even more. Given her riveting legacy as an ex-champ, she thinks a win or two would put her to the top spot to fight for gold again at 125 pounds.

#13 Yan Xiaonan

A counter was made that Jandiroba already deserved a top shot, but Suarez got it instead. She thus reaffirmed her worth with a UD vs. Yan Xiaonan that extended her UFC winning streak to 5. Meanwhile, Xiaonan, a #3 strawweight, is 2-2 in her last few.

Before that, though, she fought on the historic UFC 300: Pereira vs. Hill PPV main card against Weili and gave her quite a run. Xiaonan also packed a hard punch and decisioned Tabatha Ricci at UFC Macau. She has proved that, given the chance, she’s a tough cookie. As such, it’s only one way to go from here.

#14 Amanda Lemos

Amanda Lemos is edging towards a title eliminator
Amanda Lemos is edging towards a title eliminator

No.4 in the strawweight rankings, former title challenger Amanda Lemos, and Suarez have the rare title eliminator opportunity in the pivotal bout. Since being booked to clash with Weili in August 2023 in a failed title bid, Lemos has bagged two out of three.

She got wins against Dern and Iasmin Lucindo on the judges’ scorecards in prime performances. The Brazilian SW from Marajo Brothers Team thinks the UFC 313 win against Lucindo puts her back on the map for a title talk. 15-4-1 MMA, and 9-4 UFC, Lemos thinks she has patched up her groundwork and corrected past mistakes well enough that are needed to face a champ-caliber name.

#15 Maycee Barber

Maycee Barber is ranked #15
Maycee Barber is ranked #15

Maycee Barber has consolidated enough ‘Ws’ and winning momentum to be considered the next big thing. 9-2 in UFC, Barber is on a long 6-fight winning streak. She is a big game-killer, much like her rival Blanchfield, and has similar records (13-2/14-2).

Barber’s six-fight UFC winning streak [T-2] trails as second-best at 125. Behind Shevchenko, her three KO wins are also the second-most. In UFC women’s flyweight competition, Barber absorbs just 2.4 significant strikes/minute, the third-best rate behind the champ [1.88] and Silva [2.1].

Maycee ‘The Future’ Barber is a complete brawler and deserves her spot in the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings. After the UFC on ESPN 68 headliner pullout, though, her momentum is a bit slowed. Blanchfield has refused to make a rebooking and will now fight Tracy Cortez in a three-round rematch bout (After 6 years) at UFC 322. Where Barber goes from here is anyone’s tell.
