South Africa’s premier T20 franchise league, SA20 2026, is all set to deliver another summer of explosive cricket, as the full schedule for Season 4 has been officially released. The defending champions MI Cape Town will launch their title defence in a high-voltage Boxing Day opener against Durban’s Super Giants, on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the iconic Newlands, Cape Town.
The tournament kicks off in the festive season and runs until January 25, 2026, with a vibrant mix of matches across South Africa’s top venues, including Cape Town, Centurion, Paarl, Durban, and Gqeberha. With a condensed window to avoid clashing with the ICC T20 World Cup, the fourth edition of SA20 will feature New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day clashes for the first time.

The SA20 2026 player auction is set for September 9, with teams currently strategising to build squads that can deliver in this action-packed window.
