Pan American Hockey Cup 2025: All You Need to Know About the Road to the World Cup
The Pan American Hockey Cup 2025 is set to light up Montevideo, Uruguay, from July 24 to August 3, serving as the premier field hockey showdown for the Americas. The stakes are high, winners from both the men’s and women’s tournaments will book their place in the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026, to be hosted jointly by Belgium and the Netherlands.
Tournament Format and Structure
The tournament features 8 teams in both the men’s and women’s categories, divided into two pools (A & B) each. After round-robin matches, the top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals, while the remaining teams play for classification and vital world ranking points.
