UFC White House PPV card to go down in June 2026, one month earlier

UFC’s White House Concept Card Gets New Date And Possibilities

UFC CEO and bossman Dana White’s premier promotion is already making historic leaps and was on tap for a White House PPV concept card. The so-called  “America 250” White House PPV card was to take place on that exact date, in July, as proposed initially.

With his more than a decade-long backing, the UFC has been 47th POTUS and GOP head Donald Trump’s go-to avenue. With the symbolic rhetoric of being a fighter in a fighter’s world, Trump has attended many pay-per-view cards with friend Dana White.

Trump also attended the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling National Championships at the Wells Fargo Center and is an avid enthusiast of collegiate wrestling. He is also an avid fan of those like Bo Nickal and Henry Cejudo in the UFC. The 47th Prez also keeps other interests; case in point: per the USTA, he’ll attend his first-ever U.S. Open men’s singles final since 2015.

But UFC has always been at the top of that list, and it made quite the leaps and bounds, with a first-ever chance at a South Lawn global PPV simulticast. However, per The Wall Street Journal, the “America 250” White House PPV card will go down a month earlier, in June 2026. WSJ gave an inside look at the grind and planning for the once-in-a-lifetime spectacle at The White House and what White could do for it.

The Lincoln Memorial and the stretch in front are being tagged as possible venues for the ceremonial weigh-ins. Fans at the National Mall could be in for a fight week full of festivities, UFC ‘Fan Experience’, media signing/meet-and-greets, merch sales, and so on.

The footfall and live gate outcome would obviously be different than other spectacles or mega cards. White had previously said that they’d arrange for exclusive background-checks and comped ticket packages with a crowd space stretching till the Washington Monument. There’s also plans for Jumbotron screens and pyrotechnics during the fight.

UFC White House card tracker:

  • Dana White says at the UFC 318 post-fight conference that he won’t balance the state of things on Jon Jones, given his unreliability.
  • The UFC boss says he trusts Conor McGregor and gives ‘Bones’ meteoric odds for a White House headlining spot.
  • At the DWCS Season 9 premiere at APEX, White confirms he is still doing a White House fight.
  • The White House fight becomes official, with WSJ listing a new date, fireworks, a grind at Lincoln Memorial and so on.

The America 250 PPV concept card, or however it took place, was lacking prime American staple champs from the lineup. Ex-UFC HW Champ Jon Jones reentered the DFSI testing pool. But both Dana White and UK rival Tom Aspinall gave it impossible odds that he’d even return.

Aspinall has even moved on and just had his UFC 321: Aspinall vs. Gane PPV pre-fight kickoff conference took shape this Thursday (11 am ET / 8 am PT), live. Amid the cesspool that was the stalled UFC 265-pound division these last two years, Ciryl Gane has emerged as the No.1-ranked HW and challenges Aspinall soon.

With a US vs. UK affair out, the White House event was lacking proper superstars. Jones was out; those like Alex Pereira were poised for it, but lost his belt. Conor McGregor, the contentious Irishman, pitched in his name. However, shifting a month from July to June opens up new possibilities for Dana White’s UFC.

It would line up with the next Summer’s IFW festivities, along with UFC X 2026 fan experience, UFCVIP.com cheapstakes, UFC X Radio Row panel, along with Hall of Fame inductions. An IFW booking means many popular fighters can make a return and even headline, not just thematic American fighters.

On Friday, WSJ detailed some new plans for the White House UFC card. This included plans for fireworks, fighters weighing in, getting to kit up in lockers at the White House itself, a venue for the fan/ceremonial weigh-ins, and so on.

McGregor was one of the first to quickly take to social media and voraciously pitch in for such an opportunity.

While a Dubliner, McGregor’s west-ish GOP-aligned mindset already saw him travel to the Oval Office and even work up a rep with Prez Trump, flanked by White House press secretary and spokesperson Karoline Leavitt. ‘The Notorious’ missed out on UFC 200, then the milestone UFC 300 event. He pulled out of the UFC 303 PPV kickoff media presser at the sold-out 3Arena during International Fight Week due to a broken toe. Now, he’s hard-pressed to make a comeback at this historic event and not miss one more.
