Alexander Volkanovski’s unblemished record in the most prominent MMA promotion commenced immediately following his debut in 2016.

The Aussie legend snagged a second-round stoppage in his UFC tenure debut before embarking on a six-fight streak that earned him his first crack at the title. After defeating Max Holloway, he defended the 145 lbs strap four times, for a historic 5-0 reign.

Volk dropped his title to Ilia Topuria at UFC 298, who went on a triple-KO title campaign of his own. ‘The Great’ recaptured his featherweight title glory over Diego Lopes at UFC 314 PPV in April and means to go back to such a streak. On the plus side, there was Amanda Nunes [12] with a similar streak.

After dropping her fifth UFC bout to Cat Zingano in 2014, ‘Lioness’ won three straight before submitting Miesha Tate at UFC 200, thus becoming the new WMMA 135 lbs champion. After Ronda Rousey she had almost cleared out her division, and wanted to try her hand at featherweight. She carried over the streak with consecutive wins over Felicia Spencer and Megan Anderson.

Nunes is projected to return to face current WMMA bantamweight champ Kayla Harrison in the near future and end her retirement.

The Georgian Mean ‘Machine’ ties with the likes of tenure/former fighters like Jon Jones, Demetrious Johnson, Nurmagomedov, Georges St-Pierre, and Holloway at 13 wins.

Dvalishvili choked out ‘Suga’ with a north-south choke at UFC 316 PPV, thus defending his championship gold a second time that he won in 2024. The joint-4th winningest fighter with a gargantuan streak, he almost cleared out the division and strung a 10-fight streak before earning his shot at gold.

Usman is a great among the greats, and he too went on a historic 5-0 reign when he first held the strap.

The promotion’s former #1 Pound-for-pound, ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ defeated the likes of big brand names like Colby Covingington, Gilbert Burns, and Jorge Masvidal. He recently picked up his first rebound victory since 2021, at the UFC on ESPN 69 headliner in June, and means to build up another impressive streak.

Anderson Silva holds the record for the longest winning streak in UFC history, per the UFC Leaderboards (statleaders.ufc.com). He competed in an impressive 46 pro MMA fights over his 20-year career.

His iconic 16-fight win run was embarked on following a successful UFC debut in June 2006, when ‘Spider’ stopped Chris Leben in his tracks. After a four-month wait, the Brazilian won the UFC middleweight title by beating Rich Franklin. He kept the title for more than six years.

While others often get the label of being a better name at middleweight, Silva’s win and aptitude as a prolific striker are yet to foiled after 13 years. He has had wins over names like Forrest Griffin, Dan Henderson, and Chael Sonnen (X2) during his tenure.
