Ohio State Men’s Hockey 2025-26 Schedule Released

The complete Ohio State men’s hockey 2025-26 schedule is now official, as the Big Ten unveiled conference matchups and dates. The Buckeyes will start the season with three nonconference series in October before diving into a loaded Big Ten slate. Rivalries with Michigan, Penn State, and Minnesota highlight the schedule, while the postseason brings a brand-new Big Ten Tournament format.

Non-televised home games will begin at 6:30 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Broadcast details and finalized start times will be announced in the coming weeks.

Season tickets are already available, with mini plan packages and single-game tickets set to go on sale to the general public next month. Fans can secure their seats by filling out the Ticket Interest Form or contacting the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-GOBUCKS or emailing athletic.tix@osu.edu.

Key Storylines for the 2025-26 Season

  • Nonconference Kickoff: The Buckeyes open at home against Northern Michigan (Oct. 10-11), travel to UConn (Oct. 17-18), and return to Columbus to face Sacred Heart (Oct. 24-25).
  • Big Ten Battles: The league slate starts with Penn State in Columbus (Oct. 30-31). Other major matchups include trips to Michigan (Nov. 21-22, Feb. 27-28) and Minnesota (Feb. 6-7).

  • Postseason Format Change: The Big Ten Tournament is shorter this year, beginning March 11 with quarterfinals, followed by semifinals on March 14 and the championship on March 21.
